The highest honor that the National Agri-Marketing Association has to offer, The Agribusiness Leader of the Year, was bestowed upon Clint Lewis, the Executive Vice President and the President of US Operations at Zoetis.

The award gives recognition to excellence in leadership in the private, public and/or academic arenas. It is given every year to a senior agri-buisness exec who is not only a talented leader, but also has made important contributions to the field. This year will be the 15th anniversary of this particular honor. It will be presented to Lewis at the Opening General Session of the 2015 Agri-Marketing Conference. This year’s theme is “Growing Greatness,” and it will take place on April 16, 2015 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Zoetis is the largest company in the world dedicated to animal health. It was started when the pharmaceutical company Pfizer launched Zoetis as an independent company. Mr. Lewis was there at the launch, and has been helping to make his company one that is committed to animal welfare and health. Due to the combination of scholarships for students, internships, research fellowships and professional continuing education workshops, Zoetis, under Lewis’ leadership does more than any other US company to support the veterinarian and producer profession.
